Hong Kong Jamia Mosque is an Islamic building in Hong Kong Xieli street. Charming, pretty and tucked away in the residential hub of the Mid-Levels, Jamia Mosque is Hong Kong's first mosque, which was built during the 1840s and extended in 1915. Also known as Lascar Temple.

Jamia Mosque was established by more than 100 Muslin’s raising-fund. The Jamia Mosque is of rectangular shape, with an arched main entrance and Arabic-style arched windows on all sides. In 1905, the Jamia Mosque was in reconstruction with the fund support from an Indian charitarian Ishaq. Jamia Mosque is in pretty frame, with three gardens surrounded, elegant and serene, so Jamia Mosque is a good choice to relax.

Hong Kong's growing Muslim community in Hong Kong currently numbers around 220,000, including 30,000 Chinese Muslims. Of the city’s five mosques, the Kowloon Masjid and Islamic Centre on Nathan Road is the biggest, with a capacity of 3500.
